Based on the original idea of Katie Mitchell, the internationally renowned theater director, this production, with sustainability and reduction of carbon footprint as the ultimate goals, is produced by local teams through long-distance cooperation to realize the spirit of sustainability at each of the participating countries.

At the 2022 Taiwan production, I served as dramaturgy and fieldwork advisor. Alongside the director Hsini Lin, we collaborated to develop a whole rendition of the Taiwan-version of the story. We not only added local stories of racial justice into the Taiwan adaptation, a sound recording trip to a mining aboriginal village was also organized to incorporate the daily explosions of the mine into the sound design of the play.
